We are normally open to the public at our centre at Wat Tyler Country Park every Saturday, Sunday and bank holiday between 11am and 4pm. We are also usually open on Wednesdays between 10am and 4pm.

Brief description of site:

Pit formerly exposed Reading Beds overlying Chalk (see section in Whitaker et al 1878). Pit still exists but in private garden and overgrown. Iron stained gravel at top of section could still be seen in 1996.
