Species text
Recorded in Britain only from Kent and Essex, and found on sea wormwood, Artemisia maritima, on sea walls and in the upper levels of saltmarshes. There are recent records from Stanford-le-Hope, Paglesham Creek and Tilbury, and an older one from Benfleet. C. viridula may prove more widespread, but could be genuinely restricted to Thames-side sites (P. Kirby, ERD List notes, Dec. 1999). References
