We are normally open to the public at our centre at Wat Tyler Country Park every Saturday, Sunday and bank holiday between 11am and 4pm. We are also usually open on Wednesdays between 10am and 4pm.

Essex Red Data List comment
Hydnellum species and other hydnums: all of the terrestrial hydnums are becoming increasingly rare in Epping in line with a general decline across Europe. Hydnellum species in particular are now very rare, I havent seen any in the forest for nearly 20 years.
