Species text
This small money spider is one of the most ubiquitous and widespread spiders in Britain and Essex is no exception. It occurs in many different habitats from leaf litter to trees and shrubs. It can be considered a pioneer species which will quickly colonise new habitats and take advantage of disturbed ground. References
