Species text
The NBN Gateway map for this species shows records from seven scattered 10km squares in England. It is a small fly, whose larvae develop in the nests of a range of aculeates including sphecid wasps in the genera Crossocerus and Ectemnius and the bumble bee Bombus terrestris (Recorder species account). References
