Species text
Phrurolithus minimus is a rare spider recorded from several grassland sites in South Essex and two open woodland sites in North Essex. It occurs in grassland, mainly on chalk, usually in stony, sparsely vegetated areas, but is also found in open woodland areas on sand, in dry litter at the edges of woodland rides and coppice areas.
