We are normally open to the public at our centre at Wat Tyler Country Park every Saturday, Sunday and bank holiday 11am-4pm. We are also open on Wednesdays 10am-4pm.

Essex Red Data List comment
One female was caught in May 2000, the first record since 1947 (Ismay 2001). Adults are notoriously elusive possibly inhabiting the tree canopy. Larvae live in rot holes in ancient trees. An ancient woodland indicator species.
