Species text
Rhamphomyia caliginosa is a small predatory fly, with scattered records from southern England and Wales. It has been recorded from a wide range of wetland situations, including fens, dune slacks, and possibly coastal marshes (Recorder species account). The NBN Gateway map for this species shows eleven 10km squares from the Wash to Cornwall, all coastal except one inland record in East Anglia. References
