cleptoparasite on Anthidium & Osmia
Species text
This bee occurs in southern England, but is very local and probably declined (Falk, 1991b). It is a cleptoparasite of the Wool Carder Bee Anthidium manicatum and possibly also Osmia leaiana. These bees nest in pre-existing cavities such as in masonry and beetle burrows in dead wood. References
