I am so much impressed by two leading paragraphs in the Morning Herald, of the 20th and 21st instant, on the subject of allotments of land for the benefit of the labouring poor, that I beg leave to offer to the Editor my sincere thanks for his able support in a cause for the success of which I have expressed so much anxiety. I must apologize for the great bulk of the Appendix, to their Lordships; but after finishing the letter, I received so much addi- tional communication, that I could not resist availing myself of it; though certainly it would have been with more propriety intro- duced into the letter to their lordships. See Appendix, No. 11, which particularly alludes to the benevolent exertions of the Lord Bishop of Bath and Wells, and the Prelatesin general, and ought certainly to have been in the body of the letter; I regret it, because 1 am anxious that it should meet the eye of the public.
