Sesiidae

(Bork.). A total of thirty adults of these three species were attracted to pheromone traps in the
Thundersley and Hadleigh areas during June by D. Down
378 Orange-tailed Clearwing Synanthedon andrenaeformis (Lasp.) Langley Upper Green and
surrounding area (E. Pouting). Many records from 22 June onwards of adults to lures. First
county record since 1983. Grays Chalk Pit, three to lure on 28 June (N. Cook)
