Species text
There are historical records for this small ant from Southend, Shoeburyness and Walton-on-the Naze, with a post-1961 reference to map square TM22 covering Walton given in Barrett (1979). In 2010 a colony of this ant was found on the undercliffs at Walton Naze, being the first county record for at least 50 years. References
