EFC Centre at Wat Tyler Country ParkOur centre is available for visits on a pre-booked basis on Wednesdays between 10am - 4pm. The Club’s activities and displays are also usually open to the public on the first Saturday of the month 11am - 4pm.

Summary: Brownfield (ex gravel pit) but with establishes woodland.

Description: Largely exposed surfaces left after recent gravel extraction, but now becoming vegetated, small area of open water. Stream running through ?ancient woodland on W boundary, mixed woodland, with some heather adjacent, on N side.

Reason for interest: Part of the mosaic of ex gravel pits across NE Essex.
