EFC Centre at Wat Tyler Country ParkOur centre is available for visits on a pre-booked basis on Wednesdays between 10am - 4pm. The Club’s activities and displays are also usually open to the public on the first Saturday of the month 11am - 4pm.

Restricted to dunes. Recorded from Colne Point and Crabknowe Spit.

Species text
This robber fly is characteristic of coastal sand dunes, sitting on bare sand among marram and more rarely at sandy places inland. It is widespread on the coasts of England and Wales, but in Essex has only been recorded at Colne Point and Crabknowe Spit (south of Harwich). References
