Species text
This small rove beetle was only known from three vice-counties, all in south-eastern England (Hyman & Parsons, 1994). There are three previous records in Thurrock, two from sites now destroyed by development. It is associated with open ground and has been recorded in decaying grass, seaweed, haystack litter, the roots of grass and in a fungus on an elm. References
