Species text
This is a small fly with records from southern England north to Nottinghamshire, particularly East Anglia. It has been recorded in dry grassland, both calcareous and heathy, but the biology is unknown. The larvae are probably phytophagous. In Essex there are otherwise records only from Chafford Hundred in Thurrock and West Canvey. References
