EFC Centre at Wat Tyler Country ParkOur centre is available for visits on a pre-booked basis on Wednesdays between 10am - 4pm. The Club’s activities and displays are also usually open to the public on the first Saturday of the month 11am - 4pm.

The Wildlife Trust's headquarters.

locate Skinners Wall, Manningtree
Skinnners Wall is the name given to the stretch of sea defences on the Essex side of the River Stour from behind the the Skinners Arms P.H., to The Cattawade, White Bridge.

One of the few areas in Essex with an albeit small dune system.

locate Goshems Farm, Tilbury
This is the site of a very old landfill site dating back to Victorian times. It is highly probable that tipping ceased in 1958 when a change in ownership occurred. There was a long continuity of cattle grazing until at least 1997, as indicated by the presence of an important population of the UKBAP Hornet Robber Fly, discovered in the mid 1990s. The sandy shoreline is unprecedented as a habitat in the Thames estuary, together with a section of low chalky cliff.

Chafford Gorges Nature Park is situated in Chafford Hundred in Essex. The area was formerly chalk quarries but now is an excellent site for wildlife.
