Species text
Aleochara funebris (=diversa in Hyman & Parson, 1992) is a very local species, although it has a widely scattered distribution. It has been recorded from woodland, fens and probably also other habitats. This is an opportunistic and mobile species requiring a continuity of dung and/or carrion availability. References
