Species text
This weevil is restricted to the coasts along southern and eastern England as far north as Norfolk. It is phytophagous, associated with sea-lavender Limonium spp., particularly common sea-lavender L. vulgare. Larvae probably develop in the roots. Activities that accelerate or reduce the rate of erosion should be avoided. References
