EFC Centre at Wat Tyler Country ParkOur centre is available for visits on a pre-booked basis on Wednesdays between 10am - 4pm. The Club’s activities and displays are also usually open to the public on the first Saturday of the month 11am - 4pm.

Northey Island. Invertebrates and botanical survey. A National Trust site with extensive recent works to establish saltmarsh habitat. Turn down South House Chase, a discreet lane opposite the bus stop on Mundon Road (TL85980537) Meeting at the farm gate (TL86360548) at 10.15am. Call Rob on 07585577228 if necessary. One or two dates might mean waiting for up to 30 minutes for the tide to drop. Cross back by 4.30pm when the tide would start to cover the causeway.
